Event Details

  • The Hispanic Scholarship Fund, in collaboration with the Sequoia Union High School District, is hosting a Steps for Success Saturday to provide families of all ethnicities with information about preparing for a college education, specifically in the fields of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Math).  The event will include workshops designed to inform you and your children about the college application process, what kinds of financial aid are available to pay for college and how to search for and apply to scholarships.  The program will end with a college fair with university representatives from Science, Technology, Engineering & Math departments.  This program is sponsored by Google and is free-of-cost.  Breakfast and lunch will be provided to all in attendance.
  • El Hispanic Scholarship Fund, en colaboración con Sequoia Union High School District, ofrecerá un programa llamado Steps for Success Saturday para dar información a las familias sobre la preparación necesaria para una educación universitaria, en particular en las careras de STEM (Ciencia, Tecnología, Ingeniería y Matemáticas).  Este evento incluirá talleres educativos diseñados para informarles a usted y a sus hijos sobre el proceso de admisión universitario, que tipos de ayuda financiera existen para cubrir el costo de la  universidad, cómo buscar y solicitar becas.  El programa concluirá con una exposición de representantes universitarios de los departamentos de Ciencia, Tecnología, Ingeniería y Matemáticas.  Este programa es auspiciado por Google y será gratuito para el público.  Un desayuno y un almuerzo serán proporcionados a todos los participantes.
